The dollar rose in Asia trading Friday as weaker-than-expected Japanese economic growth data set off yen-selling. The dollar was trading at 115.53 yen in Tokyo midafternoon, up from 115.27 yen from late Thursday in New York. The euro fell to $1.2778, from $1.2784.
